It's time for another round of #pimapicks, where our staff and customers create lists on a shared theme. Last time, there were two choices: movies and mystery.
Want to join in on the next round? The themes will be: poetry (since April is National Poetry Month!), and nonfiction (since April's also known for tax day...but feel free to share nonfiction books, documentaries, links, etc. about all topics!).
Simply add #pimapicks poetry or #pimapicks nonfiction before the title of your list to join in. (Confused? More here.)
Without further ado, here are my favorites out of all your picks! (Be sure to click the links above to see the rest.)

I'm looking forward to seeing your poetry and nonfiction lists in the next round! Remember, anyone with a library card can make a list! Some ideas to get you started:
- If you like Bill Bryson
- Top ten favorite poems (you can add links to a list, as well as books by the authors!)
- Stranger than fiction (have you read Mary Roach?)
- Poems to read together as a family
- Gardening book and seed pairings (have you checked out anything amazing from the Seed Library?)
- Anything with a punny title
- Great spoken word on YouTube
- Cool local poets
- Books about tax deductions (e.g. kids, moving, ...?)
- Best documentaries on Kanopy
- Books that help you learn to be a poet
Did I miss any great movie or mystery lists? What lists are you inspired to create? What should the next themes be? Let me know in the comments below!
